The Sun’s Health Awards

Save9Lives' work with NHS Organ Donation is recognised by James Taylor as part of The Sun's annual Who Cares Wins Awards

"The Save9Lives campaign was my way of putting the energy I have into something that could mean someone else doesn’t have to live a life like I do. For this to be recognised at this level, by such an inspirational young sports man, means more than anyone could imagine.”

BHF Awards

In 2016, Jim Lynskey was recognised for his terrific work with Save9Lives and the British Heart Foundation (BHF). As well as raising vital funds for the heart charity, Jim has carried out numerous media pieces with the BHF to highlight the need for organ donation awareness, earning a “heart hero” award.

BHF TRIBUTE - HEART HERO AWARDS

In September 2019, Jim was honoured in an opening tribute at the British Heart Foundation’s Heart Hero Awards.

The awards were attended by Collette, Joe and Grace - Jim’s mum, older brother and twin sister - and it was amazing for them to see so many who have supported Save9Lives in some way in recent years. Jim would have been so honoured to be a part of the celebration of such worthy winners and recognise the immense bravery of so many people helping the British Hearth Foundation bring an end to heart break.
